This was my final observation that is developmental.
Example Feedback given was :
· Planned for differentiation in the lesson plan ( blue screen for dyslexic learners).
· Good ball of string activity at the end of the session, to allow individual learners to reflect on good aspects of the group performances.
· Aims and Objects clearly written on the Power Point on the screen
· The Learners engaged fully throughout the session.
· Good use of your voice and language, you projected your voice so that the learners could clearly hear you, and the language you used was more positive and in control.
· Good use of the power point throughout the whole of the lesson with instructions of the practical task the learners would complete and what they needed to consider when watching each other’s group performances, peer / tutor feedback.
· Allow more time for reflection and feedback from the learners, to check what they have learnt.
· To develop your questioning techniques and employ a greater range of questions.
I will look to:
- To maintain the use of positive language when giving direction / instruction throughout the whole of the lesson
- Allow learners to announce what they are doing, title, before they start a performance in front of their peers / tutor so they know what to expect.
- More questioning techniques for learners.
- Allow more time for reflection and feedback from the learners, to check what they have learnt.
Overall was a good session for learners, tutor and observer! :)
